Green Day got into the Halloween spirit on Thursday by dressing up to play a secret show in New York.
The rockers announced the low-key gig earlier this week and tickets for the Webster Hall concert sold out instantly.
Fans lucky enough to gain entrance to the show were encouraged to go in costume and the bandmembers did just that - frontman Billie Joe Armstrong performed in facepaint, dressed as Jack Skillington from Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, bassist Mike Dirnt was made up as a zombie, and drummer Tre Cool donned a pink fairy ensemble.
The group also treated concertgoers to new tracks from its upcoming album, including Make Out Party and Let Yourself Go, as well as Green Day hits Geek Stink Breath and Hitchin' a Ride, according Billboard.com.
